Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy describes how Videez (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects,
uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services
(collectively, the “Service”). The Service lets you create AI-generated videos from text prompts and,
optionally, reference images.
1. What we collect
- Account & identifier: We may create or use an anonymous account identifier
(for example, via Firebase Authentication) so the app can sync your credits, saved jobs, and
settings. We do not require an email address to use core features unless you choose to sign in
another way in the future.
- Text prompts: Text you enter to describe the video you want to generate.
- Optional images: If you choose to attach an image, it may be uploaded to secure
cloud storage and sent to our AI video provider only to produce your requested output. Images may
depict people or faces if you provide them; we do not require photos of faces. Do not upload images
you are not allowed to share.
- Generated videos & job metadata: Information about your generation requests
(such as status, duration, and links to output when available) may be stored so you can see your
history and we can complete the service.
- Community pool (optional): If you explicitly choose to share a finished video to
the in-app community pool, we store the elements needed to display it to other users (for example,
a preview of the prompt and a link to the video), associated with your account identifier.
- Subscriptions & credits: Purchase and entitlement information is processed by
our payment partner (see Third-party services). We store credit balance and related usage metadata
tied to your account to operate billing and limits.
- Device & technical data: We collect limited device and app data (for example,
for analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration, and security). Where possible this is
aggregated or pseudonymous.
2. How we use your information
- To provide video generation, deliver outputs, and show your history and templates.
- To operate credits, subscriptions, and paywalls.
- To run optional features such as the community pool when you opt in.
- To maintain security, fix bugs, and improve stability and performance.
- To comply with law and respond to valid legal requests.
We do not use your prompts or uploaded images to train our own models. Processing is
performed by third-party AI infrastructure as described below.
3. Retention
- Uploaded images: Kept only as long as needed to generate your video and complete
related processing, then removed or overwritten according to our operational practices (typically on
the order of a short processing window—not retained for unrelated analytics or model training).
- Generated videos: Retention depends on provider and storage configuration; outputs
may be available for you to download or view for a limited time. We design the Service so old
outputs are not kept indefinitely without need.
- Account & billing records: We may retain minimal records as required for
accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
- Community pool entries: Remain visible until you remove them or we remove them
per our policies or the feature terms.
Exact retention periods can vary as we update infrastructure; contact us if you need details for a
specific request.
4. Images, faces, and biometrics
If you upload a photo that contains a face, we treat it as part of your optional image input for video
generation only. We do not sell biometric data, do not use it for advertising profiling, and do not
use it to train our own models. Our AI providers process the data under their terms and security
practices to return a video. Do not upload images of others without permission where required by
law.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run the Service:
- AI video generation: Your prompts and, when you provide them, image URLs or
inputs are sent to our AI provider (currently xAI) to generate videos.
- Cloud & backend: We use services such as Google Firebase (authentication,
Firestore, Storage, Remote Config, etc.) to host accounts, metadata, uploads, and configuration.
- Subscriptions: We use Adapty (and the Apple App Store / Google Play) to process
purchases and entitlements.
- Analytics & stability: We may use third-party tools for analytics or crash
reporting subject to their privacy policies.
- Legal: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights,
safety, and integrity of users and the Service.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit (such as HTTPS) and industry-standard practices for access control and
secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to protect your
information reasonable for the nature of the Service.
7. Your rights
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal
data, or to object to certain processing.
- You may contact us to request deletion of your account data where applicable.

8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will
take appropriate steps.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. By using the Service, you
understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions, subject to
applicable safeguards.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new effective date at the top.
Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy, to the extent allowed
by law.
